<p>A system for monitoring the water quality in a water tank comprises: a water tank for water storage which is installed in a building-type apartment house; a water quality measuring sensor which is installed in the water tank for water storage; an underwater camera module which is installed in the water tank for water storage; a data transmission line which is connected to the water quality measuring sensor and the underwater camera module; a relay node which is connected to the data transmission line and transmits a water quality measurement signal generated in the water quality measuring sensor and the underwater camera module and a movie signal in the water tank to the outside; a main data logger which relays the water quality measurement signal transmitted from the relay node and the movie signal in the water tank; and a management room computer which receives the water quality measurement signal and the movie signal in the water tank from the main data logger. According to the system for monitoring water quality in a water tank and the operating method, water quality in the water tank for water storage is managed in real time by using the water quality measurement sensor and the underwater camera module provided in the water tank, it is possible to monitor for the introduction of hazardous substances thereto by an outsider and to monitor the water quality condition of drinking water.</p> |
