The present invention relates to a method for producing propargylamine or derivatives thereof through a decarboxylative reaction without using a metal catalyst by making alkynyl carboxylic acid, aldehyde and amine react. According to the method of the present invention, when propargylamine or derivatives thereof is produced, a glazer byproduct is not generated; a reaction occurs at the temperature of 100°C or lower; and propargylamine or derivatives thereof, which is a target product, can be obtained at a high yield even without purification using column chromatography. In addition, according to the method of the present invention, metal waste is not released because a metal catalyst is not used; a reactant can be easily accessed because alkynyl carboxylic acid is used as a nucleophile instead of alkyne having a low boiling point; a water solvent can be used; and propargylamine or derivatives thereof can be produced in a large scale. Moreover, when the method of the present invention is used, terminal alkyne and benzaldehyde substrates do not participate in the reaction; and thus theses functional groups can be used for a next reaction. |
