PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which precisely determines a user approaching the image forming device in a power-saving state of less power consumption, switches a power state of the image forming device in an appropriate timing, decreases a stand-by time of the user and materializes improvement of convenience of the user and reduction of a product cost.SOLUTION: A human sensor 601 constituted with an infrared ray array sensor is turned obliquely upward and is provided on an image forming device 10 and a determination part 602 determines whether a power state of the image forming device 10 is switched from a power-saving state into a normal power state by using a detection result of the human sensor 601 or not. The determination part 602 instructs the power state of the image forming device 10 to transfer to the normal power state on the basis of the number of elements of the human sensor 601 which detects a temperature of a prescribed temperature or more. |
