PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display capable of emphasizing stereoscopic effect in a viewer's interested area.SOLUTION: The image processing method includes the steps of: acquiring an attention degree of a viewer to an input image which is capable of stereoscopic vision; acquiring a relationship between a parallax value for stereoscopic vision and the attention degree on the respective pixels of the input image; increasing the parallax value of the pixels which have a higher attention degree by weighting the parallax value of pixels having higher attention degree based on the relationship between the parallax value and the attention degree.
