PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving head including a connection that is capable of rapid attachment and detachment in a self-locking manner, a kit for a centrifugal separator, and a centrifugal separator which comprises the driving head and can be produced at decreased costs without losing any reliability or easiness in operation.SOLUTION: A drive head (1) detachably connects a driving unit of a centrifugal separator (6) to a rotor (5), and comprises a base body (2) rotatable around a rotary shaft (R), and at least one coupling element (3, 4) mounted on the base body (2) so as to be movable between a release position (F) and a lock position (V). The coupling elements (3, 4) project further beyond the outer periphery of the base body (2) in the lock position (V) than in the release position (F). The coupling elements (3, 4) are positioned so as to be linearly movable between the release position (F) and the lock position (V) in a manner that a plane (E) on which the coupling elements (3, 4) can move is inclined with respect to a cross section (S) extending at a right angle to the rotary shaft (R). The coupling elements (3, 4) have placing surfaces (30, 40) running in parallel with the cross section (S) in the outer end areas of the coupling elements (3, 4). Further, a kit comprising the driving head and a centrifugal separator comprising the driving head or the kit are provided. |
