PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an online settlement system for allowing viewing charges for video-on-demand to be paid by online settlement by a credit card.SOLUTION: An online settlement system includes: a terminal device 1 having a decoding section 12 which outputs a video content; a terminal management apparatus 21 which is connected to the terminal device 1; and an information management apparatus 31 which is connected to the terminal management apparatus 21. The terminal management apparatus 21 includes: inquiry means 23 which sends a query to the information management apparatus 31 about information on the terminal device 1; and content providing means 24 which provides the terminal device 1 with a video content. The information management apparatus 31 includes: information management means 33 for managing the information on the terminal device 1; and search means 34 for responding to the query from the terminal management apparatus 21. |
