PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle brake system capable of appropriately and easily determining whether or not a fluid pressure system is in a normal state.SOLUTION: A vehicle brake system comprises: a master cylinder which generates fluid pressure; a stroke sensor which detects a stroke of a brake pedal; and a fluid pressure sensor which detects fluid pressure. In the vehicle brake system, a normal fluid pressure region corresponding to a normal state of the fluid pressure system without leakage is preliminarily set on the basis of the stroke and the fluid pressure. The vehicle brake system has normality determination means which determines that the fluid pressure system is in a normal state when the stroke and the fluid pressure are kept within the normal region for a predetermined period with the stroke detected by the stroke sensor kept not less than a predetermined threshold. |
