PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an output image of which the image quality is prevented from being deteriorated by well contact even if a signal is read out by thinned-out driving, by providing a plurality of well contacts within a pixel region.SOLUTION: In an imaging device, a plurality of pixels each including a photoelectric transducer and a transistor for amplification are arrayed in a two-dimensional shape and a signal can be read out while thinning out the pixels at a fixed interval. A semiconductor light-receiving area of a first conductivity type that becomes each of the photoelectric transducers is provided within a common well formed from a semiconductor of a second conductivity type formed within a semiconductor substrate of the first conductivity type, and a semiconductor area of the first conductivity type that becomes a source or a drain of each transistor for amplification is provided within the common well. A plurality of contacts for supplying a reference voltage to the common well is provided in the pixel to be thinned out by the thinned-out driving within the pixel region of the common well, a well potential is prevented from being distributed in accordance with a position of the pixel in the imaging device, and influences upon the image quality caused by the well contact is also suppressed.
|
