<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device in which expansion of all battery cells, the state of which is monitored, can be reflected on the monitoring, while reducing the number of sensors for detecting expansion of the battery cells.SOLUTION: A battery monitoring device for monitoring the state of charge of a battery pack 10 including a battery module pair where two battery modules 20, each including a plurality of battery cells 30 laminated tightly in a predetermined direction or laminated via a predetermined member 21, are arranged in a predetermined direction, includes a displacement sensor 25 provided between two battery modules 20 of the battery module pair, and measuring the distance between the battery modules 20, and an estimation unit for estimating the overcharged state of the battery pack 10, based on the distance measured by the displacement sensor 25.</p> |
