PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay apparatus capable of reducing hindrance to communication service.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus for relaying data transmitted/received between a communication terminal and a plurality of upper level apparatuses: receives a radio signal that is transmitted from each upper level apparatus and includes information on time at which the upper level apparatus is to stop transmission/reception of the radio signal; sets priority targeting another upper level apparatus other than an upper level apparatus to which the communication apparatus is currently connected, by using each radio signal including the received information; and changes over a connection destination to a new upper level apparatus prescribed time ahead of stop time of the upper level apparatus to which the communication apparatus is currently connected, on the basis of the set priority.
