PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy treatment device and an energy treatment method capable of reliably performing sealing and anastomosis of living tissue in a simplified manner.SOLUTION: The energy treatment device comprises: a holding unit 7 for holding living tissues H1, H2; a mucous membrane removal function unit 13 which removes at least a portion of the mucous membrane at the surface where the two living tissues H1, H2 meet when the living tissues H1, H2 are overlaid and held in the holding unit 7; and a top jaw (energy applying part) 8a and a bottom jaw (energy applying part) 8b which, in a state in which an extracellular matrix of the living tissues is extracted after mucous membrane has been removed by the mucous membrane removal function unit 13, apply electrical and/or physical energy for anastomosis to the surface from which the mucous membrane was removed. |
