PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation apparatus which allows for suppression of cost increase even if the length and the size are increased.SOLUTION: A light irradiation apparatus includes a light irradiation device 3 where a plurality of light-emitting parts, each having at least one light-emitting element, are arranged in a staggered lattice form, on one principal surface, and a protective member located while spaced apart from the one principal surface of the light irradiation device 3, and transmitting the light emitted from the plurality of light-emitting parts. The protective member has a first member 9a and a second member 9b adjoining each other and, in the top view, the boundary of the first member 9a and second member 9b passes above each of the plurality of light-emitting parts constituting one of a row or a column of the staggered lattice form. |
