A portable solar generator with automatic sun tracking device designed for home, outdoor activities, commercial use and particularly during power failures and emergency situations. Said generator comprising a tubular frame having a plurality of rubber base inserted in the lower portion thereof; a sun tracker motor and a sun tracker sensor securely fastened to upper portion of said tubular frame; a solar panel pivotally driven by said sun tracker motor; a metal casing centrally fastened to said tubular frame; and a pair of handle welded to upper portion of said tubular frame for easy transport. Securely mounted inside said metal casing is a 12 volt deep cycle battery served as electrical storage device, a charge controller used to regulate solar charging current, a solar tracker module connected and powered by said battery, and a power inverter for converting 12 volts DC to 220 volts AC. Varying the tracking position of said solar panel based on the sun's position is controlled by said sun tracker module with said sun tracker sensor as the input device and said sun tracker motor as the actuator. Secured on top said metal casing is a control panel being provided with DC and AC outlets used to power DC and AC electrical devices, a battery meter used for monitoring battery voltage and current, and control switches used for controlling the ON and OFF state of AC and DC outlets. |
