PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing technique capable of performing segment search with higher accuracy than before.SOLUTION: A signal processing device comprises: an instance model storage unit 105 in which a segment which is a sequence of index of a Gaussian distribution in a Gaussian mixed distribution, for applying the maximum likelihood to feature quantity of each frame of a predetermined signal, is stored; and a matching unit 103 which searches for a segment applying the maximum posterior probability to a feature quantity sequence of an input signal with a segment stored in the instance model storage unit 105 as a candidate. The posterior probability in the matching unit 103 is expressed by using likelihood obtained by evaluating a first half part signal of the input signal on the basis of a segment having length corresponding to the first half part signal and likelihood obtained by evaluating a second half part signal of the input signal on the basis of a model based on the Gaussian mixed distribution.
