<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen time in which a main cooling system for cooling a main inverter falls into an abnormal state.SOLUTION: The vehicle control device, when a main cooling system for cooling a main inverter falls into a temporary abnormal state (S120 and S130), activates a sub inverter to make a sub motor to output torque, and decreases torque of a main motor corresponding to the outputted torque (S140). This allows currents of the main inverter to be suppressed and furthermore heat evolution to be suppressed; allows increase in temperature of cooling water in a circulating passage to be suppressed (moderated); and allows time in which the main cooling system falls into an abnormal state to be lengthened (or prevented from falling into the abnormal state).</p> |
