<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear reactor dismantlement method capable of reducing the oppression of dismantled matters to the floor surface space within a torus room.SOLUTION: A method of dismantling a nuclear reactor including a torus room accommodating therein a suppression chamber communicating with a reactor containment vessel via a vent pipe, comprises: a first step of partially dismantling a structure in the torus chamber containing the suppression chamber; and a second step of safekeeping dismantled matters generated by dismantlement using at least part of a space surrounded by a casing of the suppression chamber in the torus room or a space surrounded by a casing.</p> |
