<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain uniform transmitted illumination in a measuring instrument for vehicle which performs switching among a plurality of colors of illumination.SOLUTION: A measuring instrument for vehicle includes: a display plate 112 having an index part; a circuit board P disposed at a predetermined interval from this display plate 112; a first light source 161 mounted on the circuit board P and illuminating the index part; a second light source 162 mounted on the circuit board P and emitting a luminescent color different from the first light source 161; control means for controlling turning on/off of the first light source 161 and the second light source 162; and a dimming member 180 having a halftone printing layer 183 for adjusting the quantity of the transmitted light to the index part side from the first and second light sources 161, 162. The dimming member 180 is provided such that a distance D1 between the halftone printing layer 183 and each of the light sources 161, 162 is equal to or less than half of a distance D2 between the first light source 161 and the second light source 162.</p> |
