PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a purification treatment of sewage for a long period which can treat e.g. washing water of toilets to discharge colorless and transparent treated water allowing recycle.SOLUTION: A soil purification treatment apparatus for sewage includes a sprinkler 8 which sprinkles sewage supplied intermittently from the outside, a lower soil layer 6 which causes the sewage sprinkled from the sprinkler to pass through to carry out a purification treatment and a water collection pipe 4 which collects and takes out the treated water having passed the lower soil layer, and the lower soil layer 6 is formed with soil which has an allophene content of 20-50 mass% in terms of a measurement of the soil containing organic matter in the absolute dry condition.
