PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent detector, a stent image display device, a stent detecting program, and a stent detecting method, that achieve accurate detection of a stent partially transmitting light, etc. for detection.SOLUTION: A stent detector detects a stent edge with a high degree of accuracy by repeating: high probability detection processing of using a high-luminance threshold to detect a high-probability stent edge point having a high probability of being a stent, from line data; low probability detection processing of using a low-luminance threshold having a luminance lower than that of the threshold for the high probability to detect a stent edge candidate point; and processing of determining that the stent edge candidate point adjacent to the high-probability stent edge point is the high-probability stent edge point.
