<p>Disclosed are authentication device and method based on a digital signature. The authentication device based on a digital signature comprises: an interface unit which receives an image pattern and identification information about the image pattern from a terminal, and generates a first color value of the image pattern; and a processor which detects a second color value corresponding to the identification information from a database, checks whether user authentication with respect to the image pattern has been executed based on the result of comparing the first color value and the second color value, and provides a check result of user authentication.</p> |
