PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device capable of increasing impact resistance by relaxing an impact from outside and a watch having the switch device.SOLUTION: The switch device includes: a wrist watch case 1 having a through-hole 1a; an operation member 7 having an operation shaft part 17 inserted into a through-hole 1a of the wrist watch case 1; an exterior member 10 mounted on the operation member 7, and configured to displace in an axial direction of the operation shaft part 17, and to rotate with the operation member 7; and a buffer member 9 positioned between the operation member 7 and the exterior member 10. Therefore, when the exterior member 10 receives an impact from outside, the impact can be relaxed by the buffer member 9. Thus, since the impact from outside is not directly added to the operation member 7, the operation member 7 can be prevented from being damaged due to the impact from outside. Thus, it is possible to increase impact resistance. |
