PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating acid gas.SOLUTION: An acid gas treatment device includes: a first treatment device 3 which is used to receive and treat acid gas 1 to obtain a gas phase stream and a liquid phase stream, wherein the liquid phase stream 22 is recirculated partially or fully to the first treatment device 3; a second treatment device 4 which treats the gas phase stream from the first treatment device 3 to obtain the gas phase stream and the liquid phase stream; a third treatment device 6 which treats the gas phase stream from the second treatment device 4 to obtain the gas phase stream and the liquid phase stream; and a fourth treatment device 8 which receives the liquid phase stream 15 from the second treatment device 4 and uses a treatment solution 16 for treating the gas phase stream from the third treatment device to obtain the gas phase stream, and the liquid phase stream which can be divided into two sub streams 16, 17.
