PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle control device capable of shortening a retention time until transmitting a data frame to a bus in an on-vehicle communication system according to a communication protocol of which the standby time until transmission to the bus becomes longer as a priority becomes lower.SOLUTION: In the on-vehicle communication system, an ECU and a repeating device are connected by a common bus and a CAN protocol is used for communications in the bus. In transmission processing to be executed by the repeating device, if a transmission target frame continuously loses arbitration control (S130; NO) and the retention time of the transmission target frame becomes longer than a specified time (S140; YES), a priority of the transmission target frame is changed to become highest among all the data frames (S150). Therefore, even if the transmission target frame is next subjected to the arbitration control, the transmission target frame can obtain a transmission right (S130; YES) and is transmitted to the bus (S160). |
