<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device of a conical roller and a polishing method of a conical roller capable of suppressing clogging of a grind stone and improving the efficiency of a polishing operation.SOLUTION: A polishing device 1 includes: a disc-like carrier 3 which is provided with a plurality of pockets 3a for each housing a conical roller 2 and has a shaft line in the vertical direction; an upper disc 4 and a lower disc 5 which are provided concentrically with the carrier 3 and hold the conical roller 2 from above and below; and a rotation driving device which revolves the conical roller 2 together with the carrier 3 around the shaft line as a center while performing rotation of the conical roller 2 so as to rotate and drive the upper disc 4 and the lower disc 5 in the direction opposite to each other around the shaft line. Further, a grind stone 18 which is formed in such a shape that a part of a circle is cut out in a plan view, is provided in a concentric shape with the carrier 3 on the radial direction outer side, is brought into contact with a large edge surface and performs grinding and a swinging unit 9 which swings the grind stone 18 brought into contact with the large edge surface in the vertical direction are provided.</p> |
