PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic watch with a solar cell capable of securing the strength of the solar cell.SOLUTION: An electronic watch with a solar cell has a solar cell 28 in the shape of a flexible sheet which surrounds the side surface of a movement 18, and disposed so as to overlap both end parts in the form that becomes long in the direction along the periphery of the movement 18. The solar cell 28 includes a lower electrode, a semiconductor layer, a transparent upper electrode, and a conductive layer 42, all of which are laminated on a substrate. The substrate has a notch 32 so as to narrow down the width orthogonal to the length direction while avoiding both end parts in order to avoid an external operation member 16. The conductive layer 42 is continuously provided across the whole of the length direction of the substrate of the portion narrowed down by the notch part 32. The conductive layer 42 has a strength larger than that of a laminated body consisting of the substrate, the lower electrode, the semiconductor layer, and the upper electrode. |
