PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique advantageous in reduction of power consumption in AD conversion of a solid-state imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging apparatus includes a plurality of pixels and a conversion section that performs AD conversion of signals from the plurality of pixels. The conversion section includes: a comparison section that compares an analog signal from one of the pixels with a reference signal; a sampling section that samples a signal level of a first clock signal based on an output from the comparison section; a counter that measures time in which a magnitude relation between the analog signal and the reference signal is reversed based on the output from the comparison section; and an output section that output a digital signal corresponding to the analog signal based on a result measured by the counter and a result sampled by the sampling section. The sampling section includes: a first latch section that latches the output from the comparison section in response to the first clock signal; a second latch section that latches the output from the comparison section in response to the second clock signal; and a third latch section that latches an output from the first latch section in response to an output from the second latch section. |
