PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital protection relay capable of making a full scale wide and suppressing quantization errors, in spite of a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The relay includes two input circuits for receiving information from an electric power system as a sensor detection signal; one of the input circuit has means for extracting a positive side signal and doubling a gain, and the other has means for extracting a negative side signal and doubling a gain. A signal with larger fluctuation than the reference value, out of signals obtained by the two input circuits, is used to perform protection relay calculation. |
