<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel that can detect a rotation operation of an operation ring in a low power consumption mode.SOLUTION: A lens barrel has: a lens; a rotatable operation member; amount-of-rotation detection means detecting an amount of rotation of the operation member; operation detection means detecting a rotation operation of the operation member; and control means performing a drive control of the lens in accordance with the amount of rotation of the operation member. The control means is capable of setting to a first mode and a second mode lower in power consumption than the first mode. The amount-of-rotation detection means operates in the first mode, and the operation detection means operates in the second mode.</p> |
