<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tactile transmission device using a piezoelectric element allowing reduction in weight/size and cost down, and clear tactile vibration without discomfort.SOLUTION: A tactile transmission device 1 generates vibration for stimulating a user's tactile sense on a planar plate-like vibration plate 10, and includes a planar plate-like piezoelectric element 20 serving as a source for the vibration that is adhered on a front surface 12 as one principal surface of the vibration plate. The vibration plate has a rectangular planar shape, and includes an extension direction of one side (16, 17) of two sides perpendicular to each other as a lengthwise direction or a longitudinal direction and an extension direction of the other side (14, 15) as a width direction or a cross direction. The piezoelectric element has a planar shape longitudinally symmetrical in which a length L1 of the longitudinal direction is larger than a width W1 of the cross direction. The piezoelectric element is adhered to the vibration plate so as to be longitudinally symmetrical, and has a longitudinal length which is 10% or more and 40% or less of a longitudinal length L of the vibration plate.</p> |
