<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gesture recognition device which recognizes gestures made by a user and can avoid mistakenly recognizing motions other than gestures as gestures.SOLUTION: A gesture recognition device is for acquiring a gesture made by a user and generating a command corresponding to the gesture, and includes; gesture acquisition means which acquires a gesture made by a user; line-of-sight tracking means which acquires movement of a line of sight of the user; line-of-sight pattern determination means which determines whether the line-of-sight movement satisfies a predetermined pattern or not; gesture selection means which determines permitted gestures acceptable as input when the line-of-sight movement satisfies the predetermined pattern; and command generation means which generates a command corresponding to the acquired gesture only when the acquired gesture is one of the permitted gestures.</p> |
