<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated object drying device and a coated object drying method, in which a coating liquid layer containing solvent is formed on a band-like base material being transported, a uniform drying is achieved in a width direction of the coated object when the formed coating liquid layer is dried, in particular, both end parts 10 and the central part are uniformly dried and occurrence of irregular drying can be restricted.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a drying device in which a coating liquid layer containing solvent is formed on a band-like base material 2 being transported and the formed coating liquid layer is dried, the drying device is constituted to have one drying furnace, each of the first air feeding ports 7 is formed between a side wall 4 of the drying device and an end part 10 of the band-like base material 2, and fed air flowed from the first air feeding ports 7 is flowed in a direction parallel to a transporting direction of the band-like base material 2.</p> |
