PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a side member to thermal stress in a heat exchanger where high-temperature cooled body is circulated.SOLUTION: A side member 5 is formed into a groove shape so that a transverse section has a side wall part 5d and a bottom part 5c over the whole length in the longitudinal direction of a body part 5a; and is provided with a stepped part 5b formed into a stepped shape toward the outside of a core 3 at both end parts in the longitudinal direction thereof and one or more brace-like ribs 9 integrally connecting the tip of the stepped part 5b and a root part in an oblique manner. |
