PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generation system, program, and the like capable of implementing appropriate hit determination processing while generating a projection image for projection.SOLUTION: An image generation system includes: an object space setting unit; an image generation unit for generating a projection image for projection; an acceptance unit for accepting an imaged image from an imaging unit; and a hit determination unit that calculates a screen spot light position, which is a position on a projection screen of spot light made by light from a light emission unit, on the basis of the spot light's position on the imaged image, calculates, as an emission direction of light from the light emission unit, a direction from the light emission unit or a set position set as a representative position of a player to the screen spot light position, and performs, on the basis of the calculated emission direction, processing of determining whether or not the light hits an object in an object space. |
