<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic motor which is operable without changing properties even if a moving direction of a movable element is changed.SOLUTION: An electrostatic motor 1 comprises: a stator 2 including a first electrode 5; and a movable element 3 including a second electrode 6 that opposes the first electrode, and movable in a first direction R1 and a second direction R2 that is reverse to the first direction, relatively to the stator. The movable element 3 is moved in the first direction and the second direction by switching an electric field acting between the first electrode 5 and the second electrode 6. The first and second electrodes 5 and 6 are formed in such a shape that the distribution of the electric field acting between the first electrode 5 and the second electrode 6 is equal even if a moving direction R of the movable element 3 is changed.</p> |
