PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure proper drive of a driver by a support pattern projected in front of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive support device comprises: projection means (projector) 1 for projecting a predetermined support pattern on a front road surface of an own vehicle; and drive support control means (drive support ECU) 2 for controlling a projection state of the support pattern. The drive support control means 2 detects road information of a road where the own vehicle travels by road information detection means 21, detects a travel state including at least one of vehicle speed and steering direction of the own vehicle by travel state detection means 22, and determines proper vehicle speed and proper steering by determination means 23, 24 on the basis of the detected road information and travel state, and projection control means (projector control part) 25 projects the support pattern as a moving image to be moved in a cross direction or lateral direction of the own vehicle. |
