PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite compound in which an organic group is efficiently introduced into the Si atoms of layered polysilane, and which is easily synthesized and is easy to be handled.SOLUTION: Provided is a layered polysilane/organic polymer composite compound, in which, into an organic polymer obtained by polymerizing monomers in which a vinyl group is coupled to an aromatic ring, layered polysilane having an aryl-ethyl group derived from the above monomers on an Si atom is dispersed, and the composite compound does not have a peak derived from Si-H in an IR spectrum.
