<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor that can restrain a permanent magnet from falling off and reduce a damage of a surface of the permanent magnet when being assembled, and a method of manufacturing the rotor.SOLUTION: A rotor 4 comprises a rotor core 22 and a permanent magnet 23 fixed in a form to be buried in the rotor core 22. The rotor core 22 is constituted by combining first and second cores 31 and 32 formed in a shape in which the rotor core 22 is divided into two in a shaft direction. At outer peripheral edge parts of the first and second cores 31 and 32, a plurality of insertion holes 36 and 37 in the inside of which the permanent magnet 23 is arranged and which penetrate the shaft direction are formed respectively. In the insertion holes 36 and 37, a plurality of protrusions 47 and 48 protruding toward an inner periphery side are formed respectively at an interval in the shaft direction. The protrusion 47 of the first core 31 comes in contact with the permanent magnet 23 while inclining toward one end side in the shaft direction of the rotor 4, and the protrusion 48 of the second core 32 comes in contact with the permanent magnet 23 while inclining toward the other end side in the shaft direction of the rotor 4.</p> |
