The present invention relates to a system for managing a project which is configured to enable a user to manage an optimized project based on the spreadsheet. To achieve the above purpose, the system comprises: a WBS executing part (110) which can execute efficient process management; a logic network builder part (120); which can generate a logic network capable of displaying nodes and the sequence of activities defined in the WBS executing part (110) in accordance with sequential relations; a Gantt chart generating part (130) which can generate a Gant chart by graphically illustrating the progress level compared with the time of activities defined in the WBS executing part (110); a schedule optimizing part (140) which executes the optimization of a schedule by executing a function for searching the starting and ending time points to optimally complete the entire project in respect to the time and cost in consideration of the requirements by each activity such as personnel, machinery, fund, etc. of limited resources and leading and lagging relations between each activity based on data inputted in the WBS executing part (110); a calendar managing part (150) which displays the optimal starting and ending time points identified in the schedule optimizing part (140) by each day; and a simulator part (160) which can simulate a virtual optimization schedule.
