<p>The present invention relates to a food waste disposal device using microorganisms, comprising: a chamber formed as an empty box, having, at an upper part, an inflow part coupled to the lower end of the drainage hole of a sink to introduce food waste, including a microorganism chip on top of a stirring net having multiple holes formed therein, decomposing the food waste by stirring the introduced food waste together with microorganisms melted from the microorganism chip via the rotation of stirring blades, and having, at a lower part, a discharge part connected to a drainpipe to discharge sewage and solids, which are the decomposition product of the food waste; a cover arranged to be able to open or close the inflow part and a safety sensor formed at one side of the inflow part in contact with the cover to detect whether or not the cover is open; and a control part for stopping the stir of food waste and microorganisms by stopping the rotation of stirring blades if the safety sensor detects that the cover is open while the food waste and the microorganisms are being stirred by rotating the stirring blades. The food waste disposal device includes a safety sensor for controlling operation by detecting whether or not the cover is open. According to the present invention, provided is a food waste disposal device including a safety sensor for controlling operation by detecting whether or not the cover is open, wherein the safety sensor is attached to the cover, damage to a hand can be prevented when the hand is put into the device, by stopping stir when the cover is opened, and food or microorganisms can be prevented from coming to the outside.</p> |
