PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of suppressing excessively large thickness of an electrical wire with a terminal which has been subjected to an anti-corrosion treatment.SOLUTION: A core wire crimping portion 24 of a terminal 20 is crimped to an exposed core wire portion 14 at an end portion of an electrical wire 12, and a cover crimping portion 26 of the terminal 20 is crimped to a cover 18, whereby the terminal 20 connected to the electrical wire 12 is prepared (step (a)). Anti-corrosion agent L under a fluid state is supplied from a base end side portion Q1 of the exposed core wire portion 14 which is exposed to the cover crimping portion 26 side with respect to the core wire crimping portion 24 to a tip side portion Q3 of the exposed core wire portion 14 which is exposed to the opposite side to the cover crimping portion 26 with respect to the core wire crimping portion 24 (step (b)). A spatula 51 is moved relatively to the terminal 20 so that the anti-corrosion agent L supplied to the terminal 20 is smoothed by the spatula 51 (step (c)).
