PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector that detects a liquid level accurately.SOLUTION: A liquid level detector 100 comprises: a fixed body 10 that is fixed to a fuel tank 1; a rotating body 30 that rotates following a liquid level; a plurality of electrodes 40 that are held by the fixed body 10, that are arranged in a rotation direction DR, and that form convex surfaces 44; and two arm parts 60a to 60b that are electrically connected to each other, that form a first contact 66a and a second contact 66b, respectively, that are held by the rotating body 30, and that are elastically deformable independently. Each of the first contact 66a and the second contact 66b is projectingly curved, and elastically contacts with one of the plurality of electrodes 40 when being pressed against the one of the plurality of electrodes 40. The liquid level is detected by an electric resistance when at least one of the first contact 66a and the second contact 66b elastically contacts with the one of the plurality of electrodes 40. The first contact 66a and the second contact 66b slide in such a way that their respective contact starting angles where they start the contact with one of the plurality of electrodes 40 to be contacted, which is located at a position corresponding to the rotation, are deviated from each other in the rotation direction DR. The deviation of the contact starting angle is within the range of the one of the plurality of electrodes 40 to be contacted. |
