PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery unit that can suppress a disadvantage caused by formation of a passage parallel to a main connection passage by a load current passage.SOLUTION: A battery unit U having a Li storage battery 30 in which a lead storage battery 20 is connected to a first terminal P1, a rotary machine 10 is connected to a second terminal P2 and an electrical load 43 is connected to a third terminal P3, has main connection passages L1, L2 which connect the terminals P1, P2 and connect the Li storage battery 30 to a battery connection point N1, auxiliary connection passages L3, L4 for connecting the terminals P1, P2 in parallel to the passages L1, L2 and connecting an electrical load 43 to a load connection point N4, switches 51, 52 provided to the passages L1, L2, a switch 53 and a switch 54 which are provided to the passages L3, L4, and a switch 56 provided to a bypass passage B2 for connecting connection points N1, N4. A controller 60 controls switches 53, 54, 56 to inhibit current from flowing to the passages L3, L4, B2 through the load connection point N4. |
