PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holding base capable of simply and easily executing installation or removal work of a tool.SOLUTION: A tool holding base 100 is provided for holding a tool 50 in a vertical attitude, and is provided with a receiving base 20 for holding the tool 50, a base 10 for rotatably journaling the tool 50 of holding the receiving base 20 within a range up to an inclined position P of becoming an inclined attitude from a vertical position of becoming the vertical attitude and a selector 40 for switching to "an inclinable state" of putting a rotary position to the base 10 of the receiving base 20 in an unrestricted state within a range up to the inclined position P from the vertical position O and "a fixed state" of restricting the rotary position to the base 10 of the receiving base 20 in the vertical position O. |
