PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generator capable of certainly detecting blockage of a recycle gas passage, an operational method of the hydrogen generator, and a fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A hydrogen generator includes a hydrogenation desulfurizer 1, a raw material feeder 2, a raw material feed passage 3, a reformer 4, a fuel gas passage 5, a recycle gas passage 6, an ejector 7, pressure detecting means 8, and a controller 9. When the pressure value detected by the pressure detecting means 8 is a predetermined first specified value or less, the controller 9 determines that the pressure is abnormal, notifies us of the state of the hydrogen generator 100 or that the hydrogen generator 100 is abnormal, or controls so as to stop the operation. |
