PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device, a printing system and a method for controlling the printing device improved in usability of a user.SOLUTION: A printing device 1 comprises an extension I/F 30 having a plurality of signal output pins, and a control part 10 which outputs a prescribed signal from one signal output pin selectively correlated with a phenomenon in plural signal output pins when the phenomenon to be an advice object generates. Since it is possible to selectively correlate the phenomenon to be the advice object with one of plural pins, the phenomenon to be the advice object, and a signal line informing generation of the phenomenon are made to be changeable. |
