PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device with an excess flow prevention function capable of being compactified.SOLUTION: A valve device 1 includes a housing 2 having a valve element space 31, a cylindrical bushing 4 inserted in the valve element space 31 and guiding the valve element 5, and a cylindrical excess flow prevention valve element 6 fitted to the bushing 4. The bushing 4 has a peripheral wall 43 forming an outflow chamber 33 with the valve element 5, and the excess flow prevention valve element 6 partitions an inflow chamber 32 which communicates with a primary passage 3a, and a spring chamber 34 which continues to the outflow chamber 33, between the housing 2 and the bushing 4. In the spring chamber 34, a spring 91 is arranged for biasing the excess flow prevention valve element 6 in a direction toward a normal position from a regulation position. For instance, in a portion between the housing 2 and the excess flow prevention valve element 6, an orifice is formed for generating a pressure difference between the inflow chamber 31 and the outflow chamber 33. |
