<p>The present invention relates to a balance device of a manhole cover. The device comprises: a manhole cover formed on a cover of a storage tank; a housing rotating depending on whether the manhole cover is opened or closed by being connected to an outer surface of the manhole cover in a lateral direction; and a flat spring installed in a side of the housing, delivering a frictional force with the housing to the manhole cover to make the manhole cover receive tension. The device further includes a ball spring safety device for angle control, including a ball combined with an angle control hole formed on the outer surface of the housing; and a spring elastically supporting the ball. The ball spring safety device is formed on a side of a sleeve support. The present invention is capable of forming the housing on the outer surface of the manhole cover in a side direction, installing a balancing device in a narrow space on an upper part of the manhole cover, securing more work space for workers and preventing accidents. Moreover, the present invention is capable of fixating the manhole cover at a predetermined angle without an extra angle fixating the device, including the ball spring safety device to prevent the manhole cover from being suddenly closed by an external shock; thereby preventing accidents.</p> |
