<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer improved in operability in a peeling and issuing mode.SOLUTION: A label printer 1 comprises a printer body 10 having a roll sheet storage part 11, a label printing unit 12 including a print head that prints on a label temporarily pasted on a belt-like mount fed out from a roll sheet in the roll sheet storage part 11, a platen roller to feed out the belt-like mount passed through the print head in a first direction, a cover 13 to open and close the roll sheet storage part 11, and a peeling unit 14 to peel the label from the belt-like mount. The cover 13 is pivoted at one end thereof on the printer body 10 via a first rotary shaft 13a parallel to the roll sheet's center axis. The peeling unit 14 is pivoted at one end thereof in a longitudinal direction on the cover 13 via a second rotary shaft 14a orthogonal to the rotary shaft 13a. The peeling unit 14 is provided with a lock mechanism at the other end thereof in a longitudinal direction to engage with the cover 13.</p> |
