PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover device having a more simple and higher reliable structure.SOLUTION: A cover device 1 for an opening part 7 comprises a shaft 13 and a take-up unit having a take-up main body that can rotate to each other around a rotating axial line 5. A spring material is applied with pretension between the shaft 13 and the take-up main body. The spring material is attached on the take-up main body with a first spring end part and on the shaft 13 with a second spring end part. A cover raw material 6 can be taken up onto the take-up main body so as to open the opening part 7, can be rewound from the take-up main body so as to cover the opening part 7 and used for opening and covering the opening part 7. In order to couple a motion of the cover raw material 6 to a rotating motion of the shaft 13, there is provided a coupling mechanism 26 that has at least one coupling wheel 35. At least one coupling wheel 35 has a profile 37 that is engaged with a counter-profile 39 arranged on the cover raw material 6.
