<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a household electric appliance from a visiting destination without using a fixed channel.SOLUTION: A remote operation system comprises: a first terminal apparatus for accepting an operation instruction for operating a household electric appliance disposed in a house; and a second terminal apparatus that is capable of communicating with the household electric appliance and receives the operation instruction by wireless communication to transmit the received operation instruction to the household electric appliance. When the second terminal apparatus exists in the same house as a household electric appliance to be an operation target, the remote operation system transmits an operation instruction to the household electric appliance through the second terminal apparatus. The remote operation system stores an operation instruction in an instruction storage unit when the second terminal apparatus does not exist in the same house as a household electric appliance to be an operation target; and transmits the operation instruction stored in the instruction storage unit to the household electric appliance through the second terminal apparatus in the case that the second terminal apparatus has been detected in the same house as the household electric appliance.</p> |
